In today’s news – and I usually don’t pick up the daily outrage because I have nothing new or interesting to add and I figure anyone reading this blog has already been converted to the conservative side – Obama is confused over the definition of “enemy”. It’s not that he doesn’t understand the concept of a threat. He definitely “gets” that the GOP is a threat, Fox News and the fact that they don’t swallow every milliliter of his BS is a threat. The list of what Obama considers the enemy is long and ridiculous so I won’t write out all of the boogeymen in Obama’s bedroom closet, but you get the idea. For whatever reason … for whatever odd reasoning puzzler, puzzling away in his head … he has decided that we are just looking at the war in Afghanistan in the wrong way. If we – as a nation – could just wrap our heads around separating the Taliban (who brought you acid on girls going to school and blowing the heads off of moms in front of thousands in soccer stadiums along with mass executions in Pakistan) from Al Quaeda then we could surrender quietly with dignity and slink away none the worse for the wear.
Get with the program here … don’t think too hard on this one or your faith in the sanity of the President of the United States may very well be shaken. If the White House tells us the Taliban are good guys now it’s our patriotic duty to have them over for a Thanksgiving Turkey Dinner to remember. Really. We need to stop being so intolerant. These people who want to kill us? They are just misunderstood. WE caused them to go rabid and it’s wrong to invade their countries and attempt to put them down like diseased dogs. They were justified. We deserved it. Brought on ourselves, in fact.
Would everyone who believes that, report immediately to DC so we can quarantine you with the rest of the head cases and restore the rest of this country to normalcy?
I don’t know. I really don’t know. The fact that there are people in this nation buying this crap is what scares me more than anything in my entire life and I’ve seen some scary shit. I’ve never seen anything like this mass hypnosis, though. Not here. It’s an e-ride in Hell’s Half Acre with this man in charge.
Obama is protected and will always be protected, so the Taliban is no threat to him personally. And really? That’s what everything comes down to with this President. If it doesn’t affect him directly, it’s an annoyance. What threatens him personally is the far left promising not to vote for him if he doesn’t get us out of Afghanistan ASAP and that’s the ONLY threat he perceives. Everything else? Is just an inconvenience.
