This is just a quickie because I am about to head into work, but I was listening to Obama via Levin last night and I could swear I heard Obama call Palin a liar. Is that a line in the sand or what? Then again, it has always been about the two of them from the beginning. Who do you believe? Who do you trust? Well. In this instance I trust Palin because she cited sources and actually read the bill, which she also cited by page number. Obama on the other hand stood up there, smiled and said “Trust me, would I lie to you?” Why yes. Yes you would. You have BEEN lying since day one. You have yet to tell the truth about anything – not once. When I have time later, I will list all the lies you’ve been caught in but the list is so damned massive and your staff have been scrubbing more than Cinderella caught in an epic feedback loop that — actually I have a hard time geting past the whopper that your parents somehow managed to screw at Selma four years after you were born to retroactively give you life somehow. That and the 57 states thing – I linger. But you’ve told some very serious lies – lies that affect my own life and for that I would have to start with all the denials … like not knowing Rev Wright was a hair on fire communist radical and the origins of Black Liberation Theology. Or how about the secrets, starting with your college records.

You are the father of lies and I am sure I am not alone in wanting to list them all now that you’ve told one of the biggest.

NPR has been excerpting the hell out of that one section of the speech all morning. If you listen real close you can hear the sound techs murmuring “Sarah Palin lied. She lied. Obama says she lied. Believe in Obama. Only Obama can lead us.” It’s kind of creepy actually. If they ever play it backwards there will be an imprint where Obama outs himself as the devil and that 9.9.2009 was a deliberate choice for the beast whose number is the upside down 666 ;-) jk – play it backward anyway just to be sure. F’ing cultists. Can’t trust ‘em.

Some of people’s concerns have grown out of bogus claims spread by those whose only agenda is to kill reform at any cost. The best example is the claim made not just by radio and cable talk show hosts, but by prominent politicians, that we plan to set up panels of bureaucrats with the power to kill off senior citizens. Now, such a charge would be laughable if it weren’t so cynical and irresponsible. It is a lie, plain and simple.

Our objections to the Democrats’ health care proposals are not mere “bickering” or “games.” They are not an attempt to “score short term political points.” And it’s hard to listen to the President lecture us not to use “scare tactics” when in the next breath he says that “more will die” if his proposals do not pass.
