I read this post on HotAir.com yesterday and turned to my husband in shock — like he has some magic words to make this nightmare all better. These people really ARE communists and they are out there and proud of it and no one is even QUESTIONING this madness. How in the hell has this happened to our country? How did we get to this place where our elected officials are happy to shove communism down out throats with every expectation that we will take it and LIKE it. I just can’t believe this is happening. Truly – the war on drugs has been completely lost. America is Orpheus descending to visit our dreams of what could have been in Eurydice. We can no more pull ourselves out of this than Orpheus could pull Eurydice out of Hades. It’s just unbelievable to me that we find ourselves in this place.
