And may I say a huge-assed HOLY CRAP! People have LOST their minds.
I think the amazing story of the week is the panicked reaction of the looters to the way their representatives have been treated at town hall meetings around the country. I mean, how DARE these people question the ruling class? Don’t they realize they lost the election? The Democrats will remind them of that at any opportunity. The theory is that if you lose the election you are supposed to shut the hell up, sit back and let the victors do pretty much anything they want to you.
Let’s draw a parallel. A man attacks a woman. She fights back like hell. Finally the man subdues her and starts pulling off her clothes. As he tries to rape her she starts fighting again. “Hold on there,” the rapist yells. “I won … you lost. Now you’re supposed to let me do anything I want to you and you can’t do a damned thing about it.”

So it goes in Shreveport posted Obama’s latest pep talk to the faithful wherein he pontificates: “I don’t want the folks who created the mess to do a lot of talkin’; I want them to get outta the way so I can clean up the mess. I don’t mind cleanin’ up after ‘em, but don’t do a lot of talkin’!”
In other words – “War”.
Obama has called in SEIU to the Townhalls and they are doing what Union thugs have done since time immemorial – beat down the opposition. He is calling for informers to turn neighbor against neighbor. He is pulling together an enemies list, plain and simple. When was the last time a President did this? Nixon? Is Obama the Democrat’s Nixon? Just ask’n.
Peggy Noonan’s hate of Sarah Palin has taken her off my “must read” columnist list so I resisted linking through to this even though everyone was talking about it but I finally caved and this quote struck me:

Are you happy Noonan? THIS is what you supported during the election. You had as much access to information about Obama as any of us and you pushed this angry, divisive ideologue down our throats because you couldn’t stand Palin as Vice President. You and every one of your cohorts in the media are at fault because you did not DO YOUR JOB and inform the American people about WHAT THIS MAN WAS ALL ABOUT even though you knew damned well what he was. You have no business writing a column like this, because your credentials are crap. Until you come out and admit you were wrong you have nothing to say to me or anyone else. Obama is terrifying you? Grow a spine. No one wants to hear your whining and and we don’t need you projecting your fear on us. Don’t mistake anger and outrage for fear. People are pissed and if you are smart you will keep quiet and hope we forget your part in this badness you worthless, spineless, out of touch, squid.
