The liberal advocacy group People for the American Way, supported by Alec Baldwin and Kathleen Turner, who are prominent board members for the foundation, is demanding that reporters engage in a “Joe the Plumber” campaign against the firefighters in the Ricci vs the City of New Haven case which recently prevailed in a Supreme Court hearing that overturned a Sotomayor decision on reverse racism.
On Friday, citing in an e-mail “Frank Ricci’s troubled and litigious work history,” the liberal advocacy group People for the American Way drew reporters’ attention to Ricci’s past. Other advocates for Sotomayor have discreetly urged journalists to pursue similar story lines.

Now what the hell do Alec Baldwin and Kathleen Turner have against firefighters? And why do liberals seem to hate the very people who may one day save their asses? Or not. You have a Democratic majority and you can’t get your nominee through without using the politics of personal destruction on private citizens? Pathetic. I mean REALLY pathetic.
What would be MORE pathetic would be if the press took the bait and went after the firefighters at the behest of these morons. You know they will. McClatchy goes on to list all of the things the People for the American Way want revealed about the firefighter under the blanket of outrage which is pretty clever when you think about it. It will, of course, turn around and bite McClatchy in the ass, because liberals eat their own and I sincerely doubt the PAW will appreciate the clever way McClatchy got their smear out.

A “distinguished” (for lack of a better word to describe this scumbag) member of the PAW is Hollywood actor Martin Sheen. He bought and paid for with money out of his own pocket a sign in Hollywood that cost half a million dollars last year to demand the release of the 5 Cuban spies who are serving a life sentence in jail for spying against US military installations of the Southern Command in Florida. These spies have been the object of a Cuban orchestrated world campaign to force the US govt. to release them. Mr. Sheen as usual, sides with the enemies of the US after he makes all his money in America. Aren’t liberals great?
