“The National Tea Party convention is on Thursday — though it’s probably more accurate to call it a Tea Party convention, not the Tea Party convention.” ~Tea Party Star Leads Movement On Her Own Termsby Martin Kaste

Sure. It’s subtle. But trust me when I tell you the first paragraph in this article is exactly how writers like me tell someone they are stupid without overtly insulting them. What makes it even worse is, the writer clearly felt that the subject of his disdain would not “get it”. And here’s the way you ascertain just HOW stupid he thinks you are.

Subject of snark: Name

The idea that you can’t even get your name right is a basic as slam as you can get. As insults go in the land of snark, this was a big one. Fortunately people focused on restoring the Constitution and getting the Marxists out of our government and reducing government could give a rat’s ass what writers like Laste think of them, but make no mistake, regardless of anything else in this article, the overriding theme of it was contempt.
