It’s really just a matter of how much with these people – and let’s not pretend that Landrieu is the only whore for hire in D.C. Most of the men and women we send there prostitute themselves for power and far less money. They may start out honest — not likely, but let’s pretend. Let’s not pretend that they do this for the people in their districts. The tax hikes, the loss of freedom, the general fucked-up-ed-ness of what this bill represents in no way serves the people of their districts and they know it.
No. What’s shocking is that they stopped lying to us. They stopped even trying to hide it. What’s amazing is that they make speeches like this worthless scumbag just did trying to justify their perfidy … like they think we believe anything they say or that we even care. And what’s worse, we listen, somehow expecting to hear something different – something that makes some kind of sense. Why do we still hold out hope? Or maybe it’s just me thinking that some day, one day – one of these shitheads will actually apologize for what they’ve done.
